Accessibility

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. That is a target we hold ourselves to, not a badge we are claiming — where we fall short, it is listed below rather than left for you to discover.

What we have done

• Every page works with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring on everything you can reach.
• Search, sorting and filtering are ordinary form controls that work before JavaScript loads, and each filtered view has its own URL.
• Text contrast meets AA in all three colour themes, and the theme choice is remembered.
• Animation is suppressed entirely for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion — and no content is ever hidden behind an animation that fails to run.
• Card images carry descriptive alternative text naming the card, set and number.
• Text reflows to 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.

Known gaps

• The map on the visit page is a decorative illustration. It is hidden from screen readers, and the address and transport details beside it carry the same information in text.
• Card artwork is loaded from a third-party image service. If it is unavailable the site shows a labelled placeholder rather than a broken image, but the artwork itself cannot be described further than the card name.

In the shop

The shop front has a step at the entrance. If that is a problem for you, message us before you come and we will meet you at the door and bring anything you want to see outside — and we will say so honestly rather than let you make a wasted journey.
