Visiting the shop

Where are you and how do I get there?

We're at 43 Kilburn Lane, London W10 4AE — two minutes from Queen's Park station on the Bakerloo line and the Overground, and on the 6, 18, 36 and 187 bus routes. There's paid parking on the surrounding streets; it's usually easiest after 18:30 and on Sundays.

When are you open?

Tuesday to Thursday and Saturday 11:00–18:00, Friday 11:00–19:00, Sunday 11:00–17:00. We are closed on Mondays. The banner at the top of every page shows whether we are open right now.

Do I need to book to play?

Not for our weekly nights — turn up and we will find you a seat. Ticketed events like prereleases and the grading clinic do need booking, because the kits and slots are limited.

Can I bring my children?

Yes, and we run a Junior Play Club on Saturdays for ages 7–13 with decks provided. Under-14s need an adult on the premises for evening events.

Buying online

How does click and collect work?

Reserve online and we set the cards aside at the counter. You will get a reference number on screen and by email; bring it with you and pay in store. Reservations are held for 72 hours.

What does delivery cost?

UK tracked delivery is £3.95, and free on orders over £50. Orders placed before 14:00 on a day we are open go out the same day.

How are single cards packed?

Every single is sleeved, put in a rigid toploader, taped into a bubble mailer and sent tracked. Orders over £100 go signed-for as standard at no extra cost.

Is the card I see the card I get?

For singles and slabs, yes — each listing is one specific card, photographed on our own counter, and the listing disappears when it sells. For sealed product the photo is a stock image of the same sealed item.

Condition, grading and pricing

What do NM, LP, MP and HP mean?

Near Mint is pack fresh or very close. Lightly Played has minor edge wear or a small surface mark and is still sleeve-ready. Moderately Played shows clear whitening, scratching or a soft corner. Heavily Played has significant wear or creasing and is priced to play rather than to display.

Where does the market price on a listing come from?

It is the current market rate for that card in that condition, taken from live sold-price data and refreshed regularly. It is shown as a reference beside our price — it is not a price we previously charged, so we never strike it through and call it a discount.

Do you sell graded cards, and can I check the certificate?

Yes — PSA, BGS, CGC and ACE. Every slab listing carries its certification number so you can look it up on the grader's own database before you commit to buying.

Can you get my cards graded for me?

We take submissions for ACE, the UK grader, which avoids international postage and customs on the way back. Bring the cards in and we will go through what is worth submitting and what is not.

Selling and trading

Do you buy collections?

Yes, from a single vintage holo to a full house clearance. Bring it in during opening hours, or send photos through the sell page and we will give you a ballpark before you travel.

Cash or store credit?

Either. Store credit is always worth more than cash for the same cards — usually around 20% more — because it comes back to us.

Do you buy bulk?

We do, by weight for commons and uncommons and by the card for holos and modern rares. Sorted bulk is worth more than unsorted, so it is worth an hour of your evening.

Returns

What is your returns policy?

Fourteen days from delivery for online orders, in the condition they arrived, and we refund to the original payment method within three working days of the parcel reaching us. Sealed product must still be sealed.

A card arrived damaged. What now?

Email us within 48 hours with a photo of the card and the packaging and we will replace it, refund it or credit it — your choice. We do not ask you to post it back first.
